Our first book choice will be: The Watchmen by Alan Moore.
This is a critically acclaimed graphic novel, born out of a popular comic series. It's the only graphic novel to be listed on TIME magazine's Top 100 novels list. It should be a quick read and give us a good first run on the site. Since we're all book club virgins, Kevin says we should be gentle. We'll save War & Peace for another timeIn the meantime, set up an account so you can comment on the site; you should be receiving an email invite with directions, we hope.
How It Will Work
1.) Get The Watchmen
2.) Read it.
3.) We'll start discussing it in a month. If everyone is finished way before that and you are pissed that we haven't started talking about it, email us. We're feeling out the schedule, and we think a book a month is reasonable.
